Conned by blue island refrigeration!

On 22 July 2019, I contacted Blue Island Refrigeration with a problem with my Defy, side by side fridge/freezer. Prosperity answered the call and said his guys will be there within the hour, which they were. On inspection they said my fridge needed regassing and condensors had to be replaced R2950.00. Initially I refused as I could buy a new fridge!! Brandon (one of the technicians assured me that if I have this done my fridge will last for another 10 years). I agreed and 1 hour later the job was completed. I paid R2950,00 checking what my guarantee was – 6 months. The very next day my alarm light came on and I contacted Prosperity and he assured me someone will come out the next day….well this continued for 2 weeks. Its now been more than 1 month later and still nobody to come and sort out my problem. I called Prosperity on Monday, 12th August and when I explained he laughed on the phone….my money has been wasted and still the fridge is not working. I have had to call in other technicians to sort out my problem. Is there anything we can do…
