Request for Immediate Assistance Regarding Unpaid Amounts and Breach of Contract by Blue Express PTY Ltd in Bloemfontein (Now Zabel Express)

I am the owner of Living Luxe Pty Ltd, and I am writing to formally address a significant issue regarding an outstanding financial matter with Blue Express PTY Ltd (Company Registration No: ***), with whom we entered into a contractual agreement on August 24, 2024.

Under the terms of the contract, Blue Express PTY Ltd was responsible for providing transport services, including the provision of a driver and fuel for the transportation of goods between Bloemfontein and Johannesburg. The agreed upon rates were as follows:

R20,000.00 per month for the vehicle (covering driver and fuel). R6,500.00 per month for the crew driver’s salary. The payment schedule was adhered to for the initial months, as follows:

August 30, 2024: We made a payment of R6,500.00 for the crew driver’s services. September 11, 2024: We made a payment of R18,000.00 towards the vehicle. Unfortunately, on October 11, 2024, the vehicle in question was involved in an accident, and tragically, the crew member passed away. This incident understandably caused disruptions to the agreed services, but despite the unfortunate circumstances, the outstanding payments have not been addressed. Specifically, Blue Express has failed to pay the R6,500.00 for the crew driver and the R20,000.00 due for the vehicle, which have remained unpaid to this date.

In addition to the non-payment, I have encountered significant difficulties in obtaining any clear communication or resolution regarding these outstanding obligations. On receiving a summons from the Sheriff of the Court, it was brought to my attention that Blue Express is no longer operational under its original name and has since rebranded as Zabel Express. Upon speaking with the company’s managers, Mr. Henry and Mr. Peter, I was informed that Blue Express is no longer in business, and that the new entity, Zabel Express, has assumed responsibility for its operations.

In light of these developments, I am now seeking your immediate assistance in ensuring the following:

Payment of the outstanding amounts of R6,500.00 for the crew driver and R20,000.00 for the vehicle, which are due per the original contractual agreement.

Payment of the written off motor vehicle to the amount of R139 000-00.

Clarification of the status of Zabel Express as the successor company to Blue Express PTY Ltd and confirmation that they will assume responsibility for honoring all outstanding debts and obligations of the previous entity, Blue Express.

Assistance in communicating with Zabel Express or any relevant representatives who may be able to settle these unpaid amounts, or otherwise take steps to resolve this matter in a timely and satisfactory manner.
