NEVER GO THERE their mean and the cost always go up even if you have already discussed an amount and paidblue

On the 26/11/19 I took my Bull Terrier Bella to blue Bush. She was leaking liquids from her ******. So I got in the room with Ross and I explained what was going on and so she felt around on Bella's abdomen and she said

Ross: '' She has a mass it might be cancer.''

So of course I was shocked at what she just said...no one wants to lose their furry child. Then she followed up by saying

Ross:''I would have to run some test and put her on an iv''

Me: '' so how much is this going to cost me''

Ross: ''It's a down payment of R1000 and then surgery to remove the mass is R4000.''

Me:''OK so let me call my Husband first I'll be right back''

So now I walk outside and phone him in witch case he said yes do the R1000 payment but hold on the surgery and so I walked back into the room, but Bella is not there anymore, They took her to the back.

Me:''So I talked to my Husband and he said that I could pay for the tests and the iv but hold off on surgery.''

Ross:''Your dog is very sick and needs surgery otherwise she needs to be put down''

Me:''we can talk about surgery when i come pick her up, so when should I come get her?''

Ross:''I will call you and let you know"

So I proceed to walk out to go pay for the R1000 that we discussed and then I got in my car and I left.

............THE NEXT DAY...........

No word about Bella, so I called.

Me:''Hello I"m calling to get a status on Bella''

so the lady from the front desk (receptionist) said that she would go get the doctor.

Me:''Hello I"m calling to get a status on Bella''

Ross:''Yes Bella has a stone in her bladder removing stones in the urinary bladder is called a cystotomy she can go home and we will put her on antibiotics for 2 weeks and its going to be R1500 for the surgery''

....FYI.... I have no idea what surgeries cost sooooo......

Me:''Ok so let me just call a few places to get some quotes on witch one can get me the best price and then I'll come back to you.''

Ross:'' Actually I'm very offended of what you just said, R1400 is the best price i can give you cause I know you don't have money, you are not going to find another place that will do it for such a low cost.''

Me:''I did not meant to offend you by saying I'm going to look for a cheaper price's, I have know idea what surgeries cost and i want to do my research and ask around, Way are you getting offended by that?''

Ross:''You know what, you can just come pick up your dog. The offer is off the table.''

I was so mad after that phone call. Since when is it a crime to price check? so I picked up the phone and i phoned a place in Pretoia. The sweetest lady answered and I explained everything and she told me that they will do the surgery for free. I was so happy I asked if I could donate to them and she said they cant take donations. She made my day.

So I went to pick up Bella and when i got there, suddenly the price was R1811....!? I told the lady that Ross told me that it would be R1000 and surgery R1400 and i already paid the R1000 and she said there was additional stuff..!? I told her there is NO WAY I'm going to pay the R811 so she went to get Ross but I guess she didn't want to show her face so they gave me the antibiotics and told me that its fine I'm just going to owe them R811. In witch case I rep**** and said I'm not going to pay that and I'm never coming back here again.

I won't pay

but now all in good news I can get Bella the help and support she needs at Temba Animal Clinic. and it's free...
