Respect

I'm a woman - transgender yet still a woman. Thank you to your Brackenfell (Protea Heights) staff for treating me as a lady. Unlike the mayor retail shop in Protea Heights, where the cashiers insist on loudly addressing me as "meneer".

It's insulting, humiliating, degrading (in public) and satisfying to their uneducated profane.

Your staff are all stars and because of them I support you. Thanks to your female cashier addressing me as mam and you male cashier with his friendly attitude and jokes. The latter not quite knowing how to deal with me - yet he keeps the conversation gender neutral and haven't ever showed any disrespect nor hurt my (as a paying customer's) feelings.

I don't care about price comparison - to me it's about mutual respect and considering other's feelings.
