No refund of deposit.
I was looking at a Harley which seemed really nice from the specs and photos. I volunteered a holding deposit totaling R55k as good faith. However something started bothering me. This 2012 Electra glide had a black front fender and faring??? I did some homework and found out it is in fact a 2010. The farings and fenders were always matched to the rest of the bike ( two tone ) not single color. Accident damage repair??? Looks much better on the photo than in person. So I decided to rather go for one of their newer bikes as this one didn’t feel right. That’s where things went really south. None of the bikes I wanted were available. So I asked to be refunded my cash. Even though I never signed any offers or quotes they refuse to give my money back. I must pay in full and then they will trade it in ( for less ) if and when they find a different bike
As noted finance was app**** for but not successful due to license not accepted by Wesbank.
Salesman notified of unsuccessful finance within 1 hour of mail from Wesbank and deal to be cancelled immediately.
