Misleading Sales Promises
I purchased an apartment from BLOK Developers based on the clear representations made in their sales plans, which advertised the inclusion of a gym and two floors of ****orking space. These features were key factors in my decision, as they aligned perfectly with both my lifestyle and professional needs.
It has now been nine months since the building was completed, and neither the gym nor the workspaces have materialised. I have since been told that BLOK had intended for these amenities to be developed by a third-party tenant, but that their inclusion was never guaranteed.
This is simply unacceptable. The gym and ****orking areas were clearly illustrated in the official sales plans and were presented as part of the offering. I believe this constitutes a serious case of misrepresentation. As a buyer, I feel that I was sold a product that has not been delivered.
To make matters worse, BLOK’s lack of seriousness in responding to communication about this issue is shocking. Emails go unanswered or are met with vague replies and empty assurances. There has been no meaningful engagement, no solution offered, and no sense of accountability.
What is most concerning is that BLOK appears to have no intention of including these facilities at all. I feel completely misled and extremely disappointed. I would caution any prospective buyers to be very careful when engaging with BLOK Developers. Promises made at the point of sale may not be honoured, and once the deal is done, you may be left with far less than what was originally advertised, and no one willing to take responsibility.
