360 restaurant Bloemendal Durbanville
I recently visited 360 restaurant in Durbanville with the intention of scoping out the venue for our upcoming year-end function. While I appreciate the beauty and ambiance of the establishment, I felt compelled to share my feedback on a somewhat unpleasant encounter. Upon arriving with my Yorkie, I was taken aback by the reception we received. As we were making our way towards the venue, a receptionist hurriedly approached us, even before we reached halfway, to inform us that pets are not allowed. I understand and respect their pet policy; however, the delivery of this information left much to be desired. The receptionist seemed quite flustered, and their approach felt a bit abrupt. I also couldn't help but notice the concern on the face of another individual who appeared to be part of their staff – he looked as though my dog had just trampled over a bed of precious gold grass. It was clear that there was a sense of panic about the potential impact on the venue's grounds. My primary concern is not the policy itself, but rather the way it was communicated. I believe that a more courteous and welcoming approach could have been taken. It might be helpful if they consider placing clear signage at both entrances, particularly the parking entrance, indicating that the venue is not pet-friendly. This way, patrons with pets can be informed before they even enter the premises. I believe that small adjustments in communication can go a long way in ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
