Let down by Blockhouse Furniture Woodmead Store

I ordered a patio chair on 21/11/2015 from the Blockhouse Furniture &amp; Decor Store in Woodmead and paid my 60% deposit. I was promised delivery before Christmas 2015. <br> <br> By 04/01/2016 I still had not received my chair. I was told that this was due to the Christmas rush, the factory closing and the delivery vehicle had been in an accident - the chair would be another week. I waited another FOUR weeks - still no chair. During this time, I was continuously and consistently guaranteed by the Woodmead store manager that the chair was to be delivered any day. I also escalated to the head office in Pretoria.<br> <br> I finally requested a refund the first week in February and posted my complaint on social media. The following day, I was informed that the chair would be delivered that same day 05/02/2016. However, 30 minutes before the expected delivery time, I was informed that the chair had been badly scratched whilst loading it on the delivery van.<br> <br> By this time I had lost all faith in the supplier. I demanded the refund and my husband and I completed all the requisite forms. We have now been informed that we have to wait a FURTHER 20 days to get our money back! This is extremely BAD service!
