Red Tape at Blockbusters

I visited the Karaeglen/Edenglen branch of Blockbusters yesterday evening to hire a DVD for the first time from the store.<br> <br> As I walked into the store I noticed that there wasn't much choice of DVDs on the shelves. <br> <br> I eventually chose a DVD, which I took the counter, I advised the shop assistant behind the counter that it was my first visit to the store. The shop assistant advised me that they require a proof of residence and proof of ID. I advised the shop assistant that I don't walk around with my proof of residence and I would have to go back home to get it. <br> <br> I find it quite ridiculous for a video store to ask for proof of residence, it's a different story if you are dealing with a bank or cell phone company. Needless to say, I didn't hire a DVD from Blockbusters and it's highly unlikely that I'll be visiting them again.<br>
