Inexperienced and unprofessional 'Wanna be' contractor.

An inexperienced and unprofessional 'wanna be' Contractor with his 2 inexperienced tilers undertook to finish tiling in the bathroom, open plan living area, kitchen floor area of my home in Carlswald North Lifestyle Estate in Midrand. When approx 15 tiles were layed, i discovered that all 15 tiles on the bathroom walls were layed skew. I pointed this out to them and Riaans tilers made the decision to abandon the job as they were not able to lay the tiles whereby all lines of tiles line up properly to the corners. They were laying tiles without using spacers despite me providing spacers. What was concerning is that Riaan represented himself as a Contractor with artisans working for him but the tilers on the job made the decision to abandon the job. Riaan admitted that they were not able to lay tiles to my satisfaction and standard. The tile cutter used by Riaan was tiny and looked like a toy. The tiles were cut with jagged edges and layed around the interleading doorway to the bathroom. Riaan indicated that i should rhinolite the doorway to hide the jaggered edges of the tiles. A shocking discovery was when a tile was layed around the plug point whereas the plug point was supposed to sit on the surface of the tile. Riaan indicated that I can still insert a plug and that the washing machine will block the unsightly tile job.
