The best birth team!

We were so pleased with our entire experience with the Blissful Births team and would highly recommend them to any expecting family. We are from the USA and unexpectedly needed to deliver our baby in South Africa.

When exploring birth options in Johannesburg, Blissful Births stood out from the start. They quickly responded to our outreach and set up a WhatsApp video chat late in the night given the time difference from the states to answer our questions. We arrived in country & started our antenatal appointments at 32 weeks, and they were able to set us up with a back-up gynae / hospital option, multiple scans, birth prep / exercise classes to prepare for a smooth delivery, and all the testing we needed prior to delivery.

Our birth team, Hennelie, Maggie & Antoinette, were absolutely amazing the day of and made both my husband and I feel so loved & cared for throughout the entire experience. From keeping us fed & energized to giving us options throughout the day to answering our questions & keeping us calm through difficult moments to watching our toddler while we were busy in delivery, we are so thankful. The care given by the team was bar none compared to what we were expecting based on friends' & family's experience in the states. The entire team has become like family.
