Perfect Births Do exist!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. What a wholesome experience!!! If I were ever to have more kids, it wouldn’t even be a decision worth pondering over ( but I am done though 🤪😂😅)

Coming from a very clinical hospital, no-care experience with my first, I was seeking a different experience for my 2nd child. I heard about Blissfull Birth from a friend who raved about the service. Honestly she undersold the experience. What I experienced was the perfect birth experience!

Her name is Teri Scott (my doula). A godsend. So much care from the day I entered the medical suites up to the moment I left with my little girl from the birthing unit. You get so much guidance , information and a community to ask whatever you struggle or unsure of. For the 1st time I understood my body, its capabilities, pregnancy and birth holistically because the antenatal classes and birth prep sessions were stellar. These ladies know what they’re doing.

I won’t lie they’re tough cookies and will challenge you on your nutrition, physical activity and more… but rather have a good pre-baby preparation then be clueless on the day.

If you’re expecting and looking for very personalised one-on-one care and delivery, THIS IS IT!!! I had 3 people dedicated to me in my delivery day, not without its complications but I can tell you what a testimony. My 2 midwives and doula created the perfect environment for me, found a solution for our “complicated cord” situation and helped me find other ways to ensure baby’s natural arrival (I can guarantee you, I would have had a C-section, had I been at a hospital). I pushed for ONLY 2 minutes and baby was out - no lie! And that was all the pre-training. I had hands to hold from early stage delivery - active labour up until the end and even in hyper care afterwards. The post check-in is also amazing, at Day 3 we were back where it all started at the medical suites for a check-in. It was nice to have people remember your new-born’s name and patient’s name without having to look for a file, despite having many patients.

When I say, it feels like home, I don’t exaggerate!!!
