Blissfully Birthed Babies

My experience started when I sent out that first email I was in Cape Town and far along in my pregnancy anxious whether they will take me. Hennelie responded promptly and told me not to worry and set everything up for my arrival in Johannesburg. I went to the birthing class with the Doula’s which was a bliss and went to antenatal care with sister Mase who was a bliss and always reassured me. Fast forward labour day came my water broke we started the contraction count they were available on the phone 24/7 no matter what time me and my partner reach out we were to be answered reassured or told to come in if they saw we were in a worry.. we went in everything was set up it was very homely.. everyone was available for us.. unfortunately my baby was in distress so we were rushed to hospitals where they waited until I was attended to. We stayed in touch as I was supposed to be in for an emergency c-section which turned out to VBAC thanks to Hennelie’s camel walking. I notified them and we were discharged and went to the birthing unit to recover. We got there they assessed my baby and Maggie showed me how to latch properly. We had an amazing recovery with comforting hearty meals , soft beds and space for me and my partner to rest and assume parenthood. My highlight was Hennelie popping in and having a LEKKER GESELS and motherly advise and reassuring my partner as well as first time parents like the mother that she is and the twins welcoming Baba. I am beyond impressed
