POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have my car insured with the company and should get cashback depending on distance travelled. During July I travelled to Cape Town and the trip was a total of 4209km. The limit for the cashback is 2500km so I knew that I had exceeded the limit to obtain any cashback. I even received a message telling me that I had exceeded the limit for the cashback so I did not submit my figures. But when end of August arrived I did submit my figures and they then tell me that I can get only R4.65 cashback. When driving back from Cape Town I filled up at Nottingham Road on 20th July 2024 and only had to put petrol in again on 5th September 2024. I live in Pinetown. They cannot explain to me how that is possible to travel over 2000km in a Hyundai i10 which has a tank capacity of 40 litres. They need to do some training in customer service doing unit standard **** "Provide customer service in a banking environment". This unit standard is used by the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA).
