I submitted a claim to Miway blink over a month ago, they requested numerous pictures and details of how the incident had happened , which I promptly supp****.

The claim was then approved and I was advised that their service provider would send me a quotation, I received the quotation from their panel beater for R36251,45

I decided to use a different panel beater which Miway doesn't have listed , however you can use an alternate service provider if you sign a disclaimer stating that they're not liable for the work being provided .

I requested the disclaimer from Miway and a quotation from my preferred panel beater to submit to Miway for review. The quotation I submitted was R30647.50, which is R5603 less than Miways approved service provider .

Once the quotation was submitted that's when I began having multiple issues and terrible service with Miway more specifically the person handling the claim (Prudence Komape),

Even though the claim was already approved at this point (it showed approved on the Miway app), Prudence started to make accusations that the damages look old, doesn't correspond to the incident and other snide remarks. I even requested them to send an assessor which they didn't do.

Prudence then advised that they were being lenient by willing to cover certain items When i asked her to explain to me what exactly they were covering , she did not send a quote but vaguely put amounts on an email which worked out to roughly R8300.00

I've been with Miway for almost 2years and ive never claimed , I'm absolutely appalled by the service I've received

My car (Mercedes Ml350) has extensive damage on the left side and the trimming needs to be replaced , repairs need to be done on the door, fender and bumper as well as the left side needs to be resprayed

Prudence agreed that they would be willing to pay R8300 as shown below , the excess alone on my insurance is R5000. Furthermore they were willing to accept their service providers quotation for R36251,45, this truly feels like a **** and I wouldn't recommend Miway Blink to anyone!
