ASSESORS NOT APPROVING ACCIDENT/HAIL CLAIM ACCORDINGLY
Good day all. Just want to share my experience I'm having with Miway Blink currently.
On the 6th of May my car was booked in for excessive hail damage and a accident repair due to poor driving conditions and fog I pulled over to the side of the road and accidentally damaged parts of the vehicle from the kerbs and road barriers which was not visible at the time due to the blinding fog and storm.
Today is the 21st of May and my vehicle is still not being worked on due to the assesor from Miway Blink refuses to go and physically assess the vehicles damages and gives the panel shop a rough estimate cost by looking at the pictures and determining the total cost of the repair which is not feasible for the panel shop , when the panel shop sent a detailed report of what needs to be repaired the assesor responded that they don't cover chip marks ? What's the point of having comprehensive insurance if you cannot repair a vehicle that was involved in an accident and hail damage ? Does a accident not chip the vehicles paint ? Does huge hail damage not chip the vehicles paint ?
Its been far too long going back and forth and I'm literally struggling with no vehicle . Ever since I started this policy I did not claim and always paid my premiums on time , however when it's time that you need them the assesors come with all sorts of excuses to not honour your claim according to the panel shops requirements.
I have car hire which I'm paying extra every month and cannot use the service due to this claim going back and forth from the panel shop to assesors.
Really disappointed with the service I'm getting from Miway Blink and really hope that someone resolve this matter after this post .
