Service not activated as per contract
Blingstallation did not complete the service activation (DSTV Extraview) and blamed the delays on DSTV. They also scheduled the installation at a very late timeslot and rushed the installation and wanted to leave before the service was activated. DSTV confirmed that there were no delays on their side. Blingstallation then refused to complete the service activation unless I accepted the condition of a service call (pay the service callout fee). My compliant is that the service was never active and therefore this is viewed as a incomplete installation and I should not be charged a service callout because the service was never active.
Blingstallation also wants me to wait for an installation team to become available (within 3 days) before they come to my premises.
Their call center agent (Timothy) refused to give his surname, or a REF for the call and always had a reason for not putting me thru to a supervisor. Also did not send sms/updated within the promised timeframes.
I had to call their offices on numerous occasions before I could speak to a supervisor (Keshwin) who also did not respond within acceptable timeframes and could not give a reasonable timeframes for activation.

We understand that you are experiencing problems with the secondary decoder of your extra view network and a Technician may be required to diagnose the nature of the persistent problem you are experiencing.
Our records confirms that our Technician was informed by Multichoice Installer Support Help Desk that there was likely a delay on their network in submitting the code to clear the E30 error on your secondary decoder. We assure you that this was the the case and that this was not a fabricated version which was put to you.
Our T&C's to schedule a service request does not imply that you will certainly be charged a call out fee. Your warranty covers you for workmanship errors and defective components and additional service fees would only be applicable if the fault found is not related to work we have completed for you or if your decoders are defective for whatever reason.
