Please avoid using this company for instllation

I purchased my explora decoder from Makro. A Blingstallation sales consultant assisted with the sale. I was assured that this company is the only \approved\" agents Makro use. I booked my installation through their call centre ant the installation was booked for Monday 29/02/2016. The duration of the installation was almost 3 hours and I was requested to pay additional charges which I did. The installer told me my brand new tv set had a faulty channel and suggested I return the product to the retailer. I managed to reset my tv and found there was no problem with the set. Another problem had to be sorted out and the Blingstallation installer had to return to sort this out, he returned on Friday 4/03/2016 which was the first available date. From Friday I experienced a problem with the explora cutting off and not allowing channel changes from the remote. I called Multi Choice, they assisted where they could but requested me to contact Blingstallation as there were obvious problems with the installation. I called them on Saturday, they insisted the decoder was faulty and told me to take it to my local DSTV office to be tested. I did this, there seem to be no problem with the decoder. "

Hello FRANS 456,

Thank you for raising your concerns to our attention.

We have investigated your complaint and after receiving a report from our Technician is was conclusively identified that the problems you have experienced is related to your decoder and not any component supp**** from BlingStallation.

We sent out a technician to your home to attend to your service request after you accepted the T&C's that if the fault found is not with workmanship or component supp**** from BlingStallation that the service call will be a billable service.

On the day of the service call (Monday) you refused to pay the Technician for the call out fee after he confirmed to you that the fault is with your decoder.

Kind Regards
CS Support

Best regards,
