No Signal

New installation was done 25/07. Call back for the TV's to be connected. Call back only 04/08. New Explora and PVR installed. Worked perfectly the morning. At 6 pm we had \NO SIGNAL"on both TV's. We called DSTV and spoke to 2 separate consultants who guided us through rebooting and unplugging the devices. No joy at 8pm told it had to be the installation. Left message with Bling and called next morning during office hours. They will charge me to come out and they only coming the 8th? The total installation on two TV's was R4495. WTH????!!!! Get anyone else to do your installation. They are a bad service provider who does not care when they have your money. Macro also just making promises to get back and no response. They are pathetic!!<br> You pay a lot for the service and you cannot enjoy it. This is frustrating and they really have a bad attitude when you call. Stay away from these ******"""

Hello bell513,

Thank you for raising your concerns on hellopter.

A Senior Technician attended to your service request yesterday and established that the fault with your installation is related to your decoders being damaged. The assessment confirmed that there is no fault related to either defective component or poor workmanship from BlingStallation and the Technician who initially completed your installation.

We regret that you feel that the service we provided you is inadequate, however believe that the service call we provided you yesterday (which you refused to pay for) is concrete proof that we indeed take responsibility for our warranties and have a vested interest in ensuring that our customers receive service support.

It is unreasonable to expect an installer to be responsible for damaged which is likely caused by Electrical Surge.

Our records confirm that yr installation worked 100% successfully on 25-07-15 when the Technician completed your installation. It is evident that your decoders sustained electrical surge damage subsequent to our Technician leaving your home. We note that yr electrician was still working in yr home after our technician left yr home.

Kind Regards
CS Support
