Do not bother with Blingstallation

I purchased a voucher for DSTV installation through Macro, phoned on Monday to book a reservation and specifically requested Friday as the installation date so that I could make provisions to take leave and be at home on that date. On Thursday I received a call saying my installer was at the house. When the situation was explained I was told that an error in job card was made and that I would be updated the following day about my scheduled installation. On Friday I took leave and was called by Blingstallation throughout the day advising of my installer's ETA which moved later and later. At 4pm I was told that it was now too late and they couldn't send through an installer to start work at such late time. Needless to say I requested a refund and called another local provider who came straight away and did the installation at 5pm on a Friday. The thing in my favour is that the other installer charged me R400 while the Blingstallation voucher cost R1,300. It seems that Blingstallation only does what you pay them for where and when it is suitable for them.
