Customers beware

CUSTOMERs BEWARE.

I purchased a diamond voucher from Makro for installation of a PVR. The service received when the installation was being completed was fine. (Although be aware that time might be wasted in the team completing the job slowly..)
While installation was being completed, over an hour delay was experienced with the connection between BS and Multichoice. At that time, I was told by the installer (BS employee - and therefore representative of the company) that I will be able to claim these costs back. I was happy with what I was told, and therefore paid the total labour costs once completed. Upon trying to claim back those costs from their headoffice,I was told by a another rep of BS that the installer was \negligent"and \""mis-informed\"" me as the client as to these costs (their words). BS have their monies and now refuse to refund me. I am now out of pocket as a result of a lie that I was told. Now BS refuse to accept the responsibility of what their staff state to customers.
Therefore do not believe anything you hear. These costs are actually exorbitant and as a result of all this business being given to BS"

Hello ndaya001,

Our records confirms that our technical team arrived at your home at 07h55 and left at 12h02.

Your installation voucher provided 1hour of free labour therefore you were only billed for 3hours of labour. Multichoice experienced delays in completing your activation. We have on record that the time spent on phone with Multichoice was 1hour and 15minutes. Our Technician could not have left your home without completing the activation of both your decoders on the Xtra View setup because there was an e107 error code on your secondary decoder.

The time you were charged for is based on actual tangible time spent on completing your installation.

It is unfortunate that you feel the way you do as we value our customers and the fact that we used our company phones (including installer cellphone) to complete your activation with Multichoice at an expense to our business instead of charging you for this airtime should indicate that we went far beyond our responsibility to ensure that we minimize extra costs to you in this regard.

It is further unfortunate that you feel that BlingStallation should pay for services costs towards your personal DSTV activation.

Kind Regards
CS Support

Best regards,
