Blingstallation and Makro con

This is a warning to anyone purchasing the DSTV installation voucher from Makro using Blingstallation. I was convinced by Makro's salesperson that this installation would be cheaper than going through any other installer. He also guaranteed that it would definitely be completed within the hour that was covered by the diamond voucher. The physical installation of my explora was completed well under an hour. I felt that the installer from Blingstallation had the intention of extending his time at the call out stating the numerous issues that may arise. After the issue of downloading time not working out in his favour, a new issue came up that my brand new explora out the box was linked to another persons account. Instead of handing over the issue to me to deal with Multichoice, the installer together with whoever supervises him via a chat on his tablet decided to contact Multichoice themselves to resolve the issue. This took the call out time to more than an hour causing me to pay an additional fee for the guy to do something that I could have done in 5 minutes myself. I do not appreciate the way I was not informed on what action was being taken or why the installer can't just call his supervisor and sort out any issues instead of typing in a chat at snails pace. Furthermore I had to sort out more issues with Multichoice regarding my account that mysteriously came up just as the installer was leaving. I hope to never have to deal with this company again. I thought that by doing the installation through reputable companies like Makro and Blingstallation I would be able to trust the service, but instead I was conned.
