Do not fall for a social media presence, absolute bad business practice

it's been months since I have placed my order on their website (blendcosmetics.co.za), and the shipping status is quick to change to "look good on paper" but nothing was actually sent out.

There is also absolutely zero attempt to contact customers, most who will be happy to wait, if there is a reason provided, especially because it is a young small business. However, it seems the trend is a continuation of the Callendra cosmetics sh-show , now incarnated as new and improved.

Callen is all talk, going live on facebook and having tiktoks and whatnot going, but if you as the paying customer don't ask what's up, you will just hear nothing. Perhaps it was better to establish your presence locally first before opening up a website to ship to the entire country.

I don't know how many "It will be shipped Mondays" I've seen, yet absolutely nothing happens. Just apologies, flower emojis, pleads for sympathy and patience, but zero sense of customer service.

A shame really, because so many of us would love to support local and are understanding to a point - but when you start ignoring people (don't bother emailing, that doesn't work. Social media comments only get answered if you are querying about wanting to purchase, or if it is a single screenshot defending themselves.) So they always ask people to whatsapp instead, which has a higher success rate of a response, but unfortunately 100% of those are empty promises. If you start to do some digging, you will find an interesting history over a few years if you read between the lines - there is just a handful of the same people who comment that they have received their stuff over and over again.

You should be ashamed, Callen - Your products are affordable yes, so much so that it is "no great loss" for people who never get their orders or their refunds (probably hoping they won't go and make a case at SAPS or related entities) but these add up to a nice fat wallet for you.

I have no doubt that you do have products, but just enough to keep a few happy while many many just accept the loss while you look like some sort of profit-making slay queen or whatever they call it these days.

And finally to have the gall to keep posting about sales, new stock arrivals, and even new products all while ignoring existing orders? Yah no - people need to know about this, and I hope now that more people are coming forward to call you out on your bs and bad business management, more will see so they do not fall for the act.

Most likely these reviews will just end up being another 'motivational quote' share on your own pages to garner sympathy, and being told to never give up.

That I agree with - it seems you don't give up ****ming, and keep a select few happy with the actual product they do receive so they can boost your credibility.

Many voices are coming forward, and many voices become a choir. Hopefully this 'music' will travel far and wide.
