Staff lie and waste your time.

Terrible experience of being blatantly **** to and having my time wasted. I phoned them yesterday to find out if they have stock of the synthetic stock Hatsan Flash QE in 5.5mm.

I was told by a guy named Sebastian that they do in fact have the exact one I was looking for, and that he was looking at it as we spoke. He offered to put it aside for me at their Canal Walk branch, which I accepted.

Later in the day I drove to Canal Walk to buy the rifle, only to be told they don't have it at that branch and that their Tygervalley branch has it. They offered to transfer it from Tygervalley to Canal Walk, but as I live 5 minutes away from Tygervalley, I told them to cancel the transfer because I'd much rather just pick it up from Tygervalley.

The staff then pushed for me to have the transfer done anyway and to come back the next day to purchase the rifle at Canal Walk so their branch could get the sale, totally unacceptable in my opinion.

While I was there, it was brought to my attention that the rifle they were wanting to transfer, wasn't even the rifle I wanted to buy, as it didn't have the integrated suppressor. Which means, they were going to have me come to their store two days in a row, for a rifle that I explained to Sebastian and the rest of the staff numerous times I didn't want.

While enquiring about the Hatsan Flash QE on the phone with Sebastian, he kept suggesting I buy other more expensive rifles, one of which is the Hatsan Hydra priced at R21 000, more than twice the amount of the rifle I was prepared to buy. So instead of actually helping customers, I guess all he does is try to get them to spend more.

Just a warning to all, a lot of their staff know nothing about the rifles and products they sell. Don't expect them to be knowledgeable about what you're looking for, regardless of how professional they, or their store seems at first.

After supporting them for years, I've decided to take my business elsewhere from here on out.
