CAR BROKE DOWN IN 10 DAYS - AFTER RENT TO OWN AGREEMENT SIGNED
I signed a rent to own agreement with the above business on the 26 February 2026, on the 5th of March went back to the Salesperson who told me the car her name is Sharon, I expressed my experience with the vehicle that it's not driving smooth. She asked me which area I would like the vehicle to be booked for inspection I said Benoni, promised to speak to management and never came back to me. On the 9th of March in less than 2weeks the vehicle experienced mechanical breakdown, and I arranged the towing services which I ended paying for as the approved RMI workshop they referred me too had moved. When the vehicle got to the workshop the following items were quoted damaged and needed replacement. This is after the diagnostic test, 1. Radiator hose - R 1983.75 2. Fit Radiator hose - 1983.75 3. Fit thermostat & cooler sensor - R1955.00 4. Bleed System - R 977.50 5. Themostat - 1500.01 6. Coolant Temp Sensor - R 586.50 7. Pressure Temp Sensor - 586.50 8. Pressure Test Cooling R 488.75 9. Coolant Concentrate - Do not mix colours R 603.34 10. Diagnostic Test R 977.50 11. Intel Hose R 1466.25 Everything totalling to R12, 240.31 The warranty which I was told that the dealers' cars have warranty only covers the Thermostat for R 1500.01 The balance the warranty claims that I should be liable for the cost. The warranty even sent an e-mail directly to the workshop and me that if the approval of the thermostat is not accepted (Jan van der Walt) The claim will be closed and never opened again. I have not received any communication from the dealer, after I have forwarded my correspondence with the warranty nor phone call after I have expressed my concerns.

Bad service
Selling a vehicle and taking it through road worthy but spare wheel and jack is broken.
