Warm and Welcoming (and amazing food :))

We had booked for the first sitting (6:30-8:30pm) but our babysitter was late so we only arrived at the restaurant at 7:30pm. The owner/manager (I'm terribly sorry but I have forgotten his name) greeted us warmly and personally. He said that he understood our situation, having kids himself, and didn't want us to feel that we had to rush and leave as we only had an hour to eat. He told us to take our time and to relax. We really appreciated his attitude as many times when at an early sitting we have felt pressurised to eat and leave. We found it quite exceptional that he let us take our time and enjoy ourselves. Our waitress was wonderful and very knowledgable and made some good recommendations. Needless to say, the food was absolutely brilliant and we will definitely be back again. This kind of personalised service really makes a difference and especially in Cape Town (where often the restaurant's food is good but the vibe/indifferent staff let the restaurant down) is one in a million.
