Black Horse Lodge *******

On the 29th of March 2018, I made reservations at Black Horse Lodge in Vryheid, in order to attend my friends engagement party, which was going to be at Black Horse Lodge also. I spoke to Honey the owner. She informed me that the lodge is full and she will book me and my other friends at a different lodge. I agreed and did an EFT and sent proof of payment. We confirmed that all is well. On the 31st of March when I arrived at the venue, my name was not on the guest list, however it was added after I produced proof of payment.

Since I was booked at another lodge, the receptionist told me that they will escort me to the other lodge to pick up the keys. 5 minutes later they told me that the owner of the other lodge will come with the key to give me and other people that are booked there. About an hour later I was told that they have organised transport to pick up everyone that needs to go to the other lodge, after the engagement party.

At the end of the day I had no accommodation and I had to crash in with my cousin where he had booked. So in the subsequent weeks I liaised with Honey and Sam from Black Horse to request a refund. On the 17th of April, Sam agreed to refund me and requested my bank details. Since then I have not received my money.
