Black Diamond Panel Beaters / Kurts Towing.

I recently was involved in a minor car accident. Upon which Kurts towing and recovery service towed my vehicle. I had made the stupid mistake of listening to the tow truck driver, who assured me they are on my insurance panel and that insurance would collect the vehicle the following day( Kurts is on the panel for TOWING ONLY) Now this being my 1st accident I actually listened to the driver . He told me the vehicle would be taken to Black Diamond's yard which apparently is also owned by Kurts. The vehicle was actually taken to a different location in Verulam. When I enquired with Black Diamond they assured me they would release the vehicle, spoke to their ladies in the office who said they were also on the insured company's panel and in actual fact they ARE NOT...in short it was a nightmare...they basically held my vehicle for 10 days until they were paid storage fee's. I am not upset that they towed the vehicle or even if they held it for 2 or 3 working days...but the disregard for people in a situation, the lies and the greed of money makes me feel ****** and upset. I hope people are educated about these scavengers on the road feeding off peoples misfortune.
