Absolutely ********** Service

I just want to bring to your attention the absolutely ********** service from your establishment. To make matters worse, I couldn't leave a review on Facebook so here I go again on a different avenue.

First and foremost the food took almost an hour and a half to be prepared and get ready to be delivered.

Even though the order was placed with an updated address the delivery was sent to an incorrect address. While generally this wouldn't be an issue, the delivery was only received at 20:58. There is a CURFEW at 21:00. The driver took almost 20 minutes to get from Flamingo Vlei to Parklands which is generally a 5 to 7 minute drive. Beyond that the driver still got lost and had to be fetched at a location different from the delivery address. Once again there's a CURFEW. As a family we would have wanted to have dinner together but due the lack of service we were forced to not have dinner together. Getting home from delivery is a 15 minute drive and we only left delivery at 21:08 which is beyond the CURFEW time.

Extra delays arose when the speed point failed numerous amounts of time at which point the driver had to follow us to the ATM, which resulted in the driver driving like a racecar driver (where was the sense of urgency to deliver the meals to delivery address). When the driver was called (at our expense) numerous amounts of time, he didn't even know what colour his vehicle is (his exact words were it's a colourful) when it was white with blue stripes, again this is 20:56 with a CURFEW at 21:00. The driver casually says he lives close to the restaurant, not at all bothered by our sense of urgency to get home to avoid trouble with the LAW as there is a CURFEW which all restaurants are FULLY aware of. I highly doubt that Black Bull would have taken responsibility for bail had we been arrested for driving around after CURFEW. Even though the delay is entirely the restaurant's responsibility. Apparently a medium rare steak, some ribs, chicken nuggets, a chicken and beef burger takes almost an hour and a half to prepare.

One of the meals were ordered veg but delivered with chips. All in all absolutely ********** service received by 1st time customers of Black Bull.

While the ribs were absolutely amazing, a good plate of food doesn't make up for the lack of service and service delivery and nor would it have either justified being out after CURFEW or paid for any bail that would be required for not obiding to the laws of the country.

At the very least Black Bull could have reached out to inform of any delays. NOTHING. The only time Black Bull made any sort of contact was after 21:00 when the driver hadn't reported back to the restaurant.

The veg would have been amazing yet Black Bull once made absolutely no effort to communicate with us regarding any delays or the lack of items packaged.

In these trying times, it's completely understandable that everyone is doing what they can to support their loved ones, however service and service delivery should still be a priority. Number one priority should be to obide by the laws of the country and the CURFEW should be the most important factor in terms of delivering the service advertised so freely on Facebook.

The only consolation is that the ribs were good. That's where the story ends.
