Hard earned money for Poor workmanship

I entered into a contractual agreement with this company last year around August to paint my house outside and to install paving at my residential home and it was a real disaster. His guys didn't finish the paint job satisfactory and also messed up the newly laid paving with paint. The paving is not up to standard at all . I'm still battling to get Godfrey (The owner) to come and clean up his employees mess. It's nearly 8 months later and my driveway looks like a **** garden instead. If there's anyone who went through the same ordeal with this company please respond with ur review. I'm not even sure if this is a registered company at all because there's no trace of such a company on the listed contractors or any media level. Godfrey claims his company is registered so how can I confirm his registration? Just be alert when appointing people for construction projects and please make sure you can trust their workmanship.
