Really bad service from Bitcoin Prosper

My experience with Bitcoin Prosper is not positive at all. This is my ordeal with them, which began in June 2018:

I found an add placed on Gumtree for a 4-GPU mining rig (4 X RX 580 graphics cards) for R14 250.00. I immediately contacted the owner, by the name of Roy. He told me that he'd need to look into the availability etc and get back to me. After around 2 weeks, I phoned again and was pointed to Pamela (10 July 2018). She then confirmed that I wanted to place the order and secure with a 50% deposit. When I received the invoice, I immediately transferred the 50% deposit of R7 125.00 (11 July 2018). I was also told that delivery would be between 5-10 working days.

After paying the deposit, I heard nothing for a few days and then asked for an ETA on the completion of the rig and opted that I will collect from their offices in Bryanston, as I travel around Gauteng on a daily basis. On 16 July 2018, I received a notification from James and their support team, that the rig will be ready on 26 July 2018. So on the 25th July 2018, James sent a mail, stating that he had issues with 2 of the RX 580 cards and requested that Pamela order an additional 2 cards, while he's in the process of attempting to troubleshoot what the problem was. I then requested an update on the rig, as I needed to make the necessary arrangement to collect the rig from their office. Eventually on 31 July, I received a response from James that the 2 cards were ordered from an overseas supplier. Pamela then advised that delivery is usually 2 - 3 working days. I also then paid over the remaining 50% of the payment due - so this rig was fully paid for on the 31st July 2018.

On 6th August 2018, Pamela sent out an email, stating that she'd received the 2 cards and asked Eric to assist with the build of the rig, as James has fallen ill. I then followed up the status every day, which lead nowhere. On the 8th August I emailed Pamela and requested a refund, as I waited for a month (from placing the order). Nothing happened and I inquired yet again on the status of the rig - by the way, their ********** is of no use, as all you get is the same reply every time, with the same tracking ID number (#255270).

Sooo, I decided to visit their office in Bryanston on 16 August 2018, as I did not get any response or communication from them. I met with Lynda and expressed my disgust with how the order went. She then promised me feedback on the order as soon as possible. Pamela then mailed me after the visit and told me that she will personally follow up on the order. Nothing then happened... until I received an email on the 20th August 2018 from ********** - Ghuval Khimshai - reportedly an Indian-based support team. It was stated that a refund will be passed and requested my banking details. I rep**** to the email with my baking details. On the 21st Roy sent an email to Eric and requested an update on the rig - Eric only rep**** on the 23rd August 2018, stating that he only started working on my rig the previous day (22 August 2018). He found that there's incompatibilities or something and that the rig will not boot with the 4 RX 580 cards, but did manage to get it working with 2 GeForce GTX 1060's.

On the 24th August 2018, Roy gave me a call and discussed the issues with the rig. I then told him, that I would accept the rig with 2 cards and they can give me the other 2 cards seperately, as I could then build up my own 2nd rig or something. On the 27th August, Roy sent an email and told me that he spoke to Eric telephonically (as Eric is off sick with flu), and will make sure that the rig is ready by Thursday afternoon (30 August 2018). On the 30th August 2018, James sent an email, that he encountered yet another problem with the rig - this time, the RAM (memory). He would then only be able to get this later that afternoon. On 31 August 2018, James sent an email and confirmed that the rig was ready. I then opted to collect, but Roy wasn't available for the collection, so this then turned out that we could meet up the next day (Saturday, 1 September 2018). We then met in Midrand and Roy delivered the rig to me - a 2-GPU mining rig with Geforce GTX 1060 cards. Roy took pictures and a video of me, to thank Bitcoin Prosper for the delivery. He then also explained the GPU problem and availability to me and said that I would get the other 2 cards only in 2 week's time - the week 10 - 16 September 2018. Not that happy, I had to accept this and wait it out. When I got home with the rig, the thing would not start / boot up. After fiddling around, I managed to get the rig up and running.

As I already had a rig with 3 X AMD RX 580 cards, I could immediately see that the 2 X Nvidia GeForce cards fall way behind. I was not happy at all. I even sent them my comparison of the RX 580 / GTX 1060 cards. So anyway, on the 18th September, I started asking about the 2 cards they still owed me... I received no communication from them. On 28 September 2018, I sent Roy an SMS requesting an update, which he told me that he was in Singapore on device training. This was the last communication from anyone at Bitcoin Prosper - even after sending threats and expressed exactly how I feel about this company. I even added a review on Google and received a reply from someone @ Bitcoin Prosper - Quote:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charl, we thank you for your 1 star review and bringing this to managements attention. Our goal is to ensure the highest level of customer service and even though the management team is shocked to have had this happen we have already begun at looking at ways to increase our service value to our customers.

As discussed by one of our directors with you, you're machine is now ready.

On top of this, one of our customer representatives will be in contact to to provide you with a R 1000 food voucher to take your family out on us, to repair the issue of having this bad experience with us. As investigated on the matter it seems the large amount of orders over the last 3 weeks by one of our investment clients seemed to have affected your order which we will now ensure does not happen again. We have already begun working with another two suppliers from China in order to ensure products are never delayed when ordered, which is the main reason for this happening and have identified the responsible parties involved in not correctly directing your messages through to us.

We take our customer reviews and online reviews extremely seriously and as an online and brick and mortar business, have worked hard to ensure that customer service and deliverability is the cornerstone of all we do; as seen here https://trustspot.io/store/Bitcoin-Prosper -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, no one from Bitcoin Prosper contacted me up to today - Today is the 10th October 2018 - 3 months down the line, this was the worst experience I have encountered from an "online purchase". Yes, I at least have a 2-GPU rig, but this is not what I paid for... I paid for an advertised 4X RX 580 mining rig and got a 2X GTX 1060 rig and I am still waiting for the 2 cards they owe me...

Some might say that this is a **** company - what I went through, all I can say is - empty promises - lies, lies and more lies and then communication... their communication is really bad!

I have read ALL the reviews on their "TrustSpot" account - not a single bad or negative review - it's all just happy and thankful, which makes me think that it's either "cooked" or filtered carefully. I would seriously not recommend this company to anyone. You have been warned...
