Poor customer service and a very long wait

So much for wanting to support a small business. I’m really quite disappointed in the service I’ve received. After initially being told the wait would be 10 days, I enquired after about that time and was told the shoes would be available for collection in a few days. I was told to remind the lady which I forgot to do. I did expect her to follow up with me, though. When I did reach out again I was told that the delivery date would now be pushed out yet again. I expressed my disappointment and was told, with immense attitude, that I was very much aware of the wait. I was then asked to wait another week. When I enquired on the agreed-upon day if I could collect my shoes I was told to wait a further few days with no apology.

I paid them promptly but have been asked to continue waiting for my order. I have recently asked for a refund but I doubt even that will come to fruition given their work ethic and levels of integrity. So I await my shoes or my money. I wish I had done my research on this company before so promptly parting with my money for shoes that were supposed to be a birthday gift but have yet to be received and given to the person. I would rather have walked into a reputable store, spent a grand on shoes and walked out a happy customer, shoes in hand. I would at least know why I am spending that kind of money.
