Uncaring environment- No sympathy

The school has double standards depending on the colour of your skin.A Christian school that fails to inform the parents that a classmate has lost a parent. My child came back from school with all these questions about death and such hurt and concern for the classmate. My child tells me of how they cried when they saw their classmate cried. These 9 year olds dealt with their grief and the teacher failed to inform and prepare us from all the questions and emotions that they brought back home.<br> I just feel so sad and disappointed that we as parents were not informed about the passing of a parent and have failed the deceased parents' child and family since we could not even support them during this period of bereavement.<br> I would like to send my condolences to the family during this time and I hope God give them strength to deal with the loss of their loved one.
