Is it too much an effort on the college's side to furnish verification and transcripts ?

<p>There is a great dissatisfaction, perplex and surprise about Birnam College and its handling of issues and it is distressing that the attention of arising queries have to be attended “cyclically”, on certain dates by so called faceless, nameless and invisible “verification officers”.</p> <p> </p> <p> I am sure requesting or the undertaking of verification of enrolment and completion of studies is not rocket science undertaking, especially as it is something that I regard as as service that has to be undertaken to the candidates that completed one or other study there.</p> <p> </p> <p>I completed my Computer Studies and I am in possession my Computers Diploma. A suitable position has availed itself and the last step needed is statement of advice or transcripts for the modules that I have undertaken and completed.</p> <p> </p> <p>Seeing that it is a challenge for the response to be received from the institution, I decided to pay the institution a visit and explained my challenge to them.</p> <p> </p> <p> Mrs. Brenda Riesnick, the principal, owner or the verification officer told me that my case may be attended to on the 9th of May.</p> <p> </p> <p>I HAVE APP**** FOR A POSITION AND AS ANYONE KNOWS. THERE IS CUT OFF DATES FOR THESE UNDERTAKINGS. DOES THIS MEAN THAT I WILL BE LOSING AN OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE OF HOW THEY WORK? WILL MY FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS BE MET BY THEM? IS MY FUTURE NIOW IN THEIR HANDS AND I HAVE TO BE DICTATED TO BY THEM?</p> <p> </p> <p>She said that she had not seen the e mail sent to the address sent and I know for sure that it is attached with a number of other certification from other institutions. I even stated that I am requesting assistance with the one obtained from her, and from there a waiting game started until I decided to go there personally.</p> <p> </p> <p>Before publishing this , I had received an e mail about the first time that a verification office had seen this…….and the previous times, what gave?.....May I add it is also the first time I received any correspondence from them. How touching.</p> <p> </p> <p> Lo and behold, I was told that I also have to pay R600.00 verification fee. When was this bombshell going to be dropped? Does it mean that the institution does not archive anything like it is supposed to?</p> <p> </p> <p>Even Home affairs, in its shambles, do keep the records. May this be attended to and be given the attention that it deserves please? The information has been re forwarded to them today.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
