Birkenstock exchange policy

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Birkenstock store in Canal Walk.

I purchased a pair of Birkenstocks online and needed to exchange them simply for a different size. I was not asking for a refund, a different style, or a different product. I only wanted the same shoes in the correct size.

When I went to the store to make the exchange, I was told that because the shoes were purchased on sale, I would have to pay the difference in price in order to exchange them. This was very disappointing, especially because Birkenstock’s online exchange policy states that online purchases can be exchanged at any Birkenstock store.

I find it unreasonable that I should have to pay an additional amount when I am only requesting a size exchange for the exact same product. If the policy allows online purchases to be exchanged in-store, the terms and conditions should be app**** consistently.

The service I received was not what I expected from a well-known brand like Birkenstock. I would appreciate clarification on the correct exchange policy and why I was refused a straightforward size exchange.

I hope Birkenstock will look into this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution.
