BC Cafe at the Birchwood Hotel OR International

I unfortunately have to use the hotels name as the restaurant falls under it and it’s name doesn’t appear on this platform. We came to see my mom who is here for a workshop over dinner. We ordered most food outside due to her experience from ordering from BC Cafe where she wasn’t really happy with last night. We ordered the most simple side to add to our dish for the night and the fries which are R25 a portion looked like they were for a kids portion which I can also share the photos with should the platform allow. We’ve been trying to contact them and instead we get rerouted to the reception area. We were told they’d contact us and the restaurant is even closed now without any contact. I am highly disappointed at the service especially looking at the hotel and their standards.
