Wish to warn any one who intends being conned by Bioptron SA Based in Cape town. You are about to be had .Bought a so called Medical light therapy lamp and due to a power surge experienced a burned coil .in Nov 2021 .Sent the lamp to be repaired and was quoted R 19.000 for the repair.Did not accept the exorbitant unwarranted charge and sked for the lamp back . Received lamp back with two burned coils and a damaged globe stem. They denied further damage even though a photo was taken before sending the lamp. To today no remedy 7 months later . The lamp globe a Osram was bought for some 60 rand and the repair comes to R900 for coil and board .Beware of dealing with these con artists they do not deliver after sales service and rip you off. They should be reported to Consumer council.
