Bionic offers attractive specials, and at first glance the experience seems great. Luwayne is very friendly — but it quickly becomes clear that this friendliness is mainly during the sales process. When it comes to actually using the services you’ve paid for, the experience is completely different. Despite purchasing their specials in good faith, I’ve repeatedly been unable to book an appointment. On three separate occasions I tried to schedule a treatment, only to be told that they are fully booked and that appointments need to be made up to a year in advance. This was never mentioned at the time of purchase. Had this been disclosed upfront, I would have reconsidered buying the special. Because I work six days a week, I can only visit a salon on my off days — which I don’t know far in advance. The lack of flexibility and transparency made it impossible to use the service. As a result, I ended up going to other salons whenever I needed treatment, which defeats the purpose of having purchased from Bionic in the first place. When I requested a refund, I was told they “don’t do refunds,” even though I was required to make immediate payment when buying the special. I’ve also never had the opportunity to speak to the owner directly to address my concerns. Overall, the experience has been disappointing. While the specials look great on paper, Bionic does not seem able to meet the demand, and they clearly prioritise long-standing clients who book a year in advance. New clients are left feeling misled and unable to use what they paid for. I hope the salon re-evaluates its booking policy and customer transparency moving forward.
