Debit order theft

<p>On the 24/03/2016 My Girlfiend Elri signed a contract that was advertised as a special to gym at Biolife for R158 p/m. The contract that was signed was for 6 months only. A debit order went off each moth until the contract ended on 24/09/2016. And we thought that was the end of that. However, in Febuary 2017 she realized that the debit order had been going off each month after the contract had ended. She then went to Biolife and spoke to Hannes to find out what the problem was and he told her that she had never cancelled the debit order. She then signed a form of cancellation for the debit order on the 02/03/2017. On the 01/04/2017 another debit order went off. We went back to Biolife that day to only find the receptionist who told us after finding the signed form that it takes 2 months to cancel a debit order.</p> <p>After contacting the Bank, Standard Bank informed us that the debit order does not go off on a constant date every month and therefore they cannot stop it.</p> <p>clearly Biolife uses this technique to ***** form its clients or ex clients since I am not the only reviewer who has this problem. The ammount of debit orders equates to R948 (6 x R158.00). I cannot understand why a debit orders nedds to be canceled at Biolife even though the contract had ended after 6 months.</p> <p> </p>
