Horrible experience at the Rylands Village branch of Bin Rahieds
I have been a fan of been rashied's for about over a year now. I frequented the lansdowne branch until i heard of a new branch opening in the gatesville area. I was over joyed as I could now enjoy the delicious pizza closer to home. I had no problems with this branch until today (28/04/2018). I went into the store at about 6pm and received my Chicken El Romero and Garlic Chita. When My wife and I tasted the Garlic Chita it tasted as delicious as always, the Chicken El Romero however tasted as though the mushrooms have gone off. I immediately hopped in my car and returned the pizza hoping to replace it for one without mushrooms like the Manhattan. When I arrived at the store (wasting my petrol) the only white employee (not sure how else to describe him since I do not know his name), whom I assume is the supervisor, showed no sympathy and immediately insisted that the mushrooms are fresh, I insisted however that he tastes it and tell me if it's fresh he however just insisted on making a new Chicken El Romero. I gave in and took the newly baked Chicken El Romero.
When I got to my car I decided to taste the mushrooms before leaving and to my surprise it once again tasted sour. I immediately took the pizza back and politely asked to rather have a manhattan. The white guy at first tried to bully me into taking the pizza by asking "what am I suppose to do with this pizza now?" to which I rep**** "I'm not sure". He then embarrassed me in front of the other customers by taking the pizza and saying "Fine! I'll cover the costs" he then threw the pizza onto the floor and told me "I'll make your manhattan". Upon receiving my manhattan he once again embarrassed me by sarcastically shouting from behind the counter "please sir don't order the El Romero next time as the mushrooms always taste the same".
I found this to be utterly rude, after all I am a customer and I deserve to get value for my money. The least you could do as an employee is treat me with the respect I deserve. After all I never shouted at him or rudely demanded I get a new pizza, I simply asked.
I don't feel like going back to bin Rashied's after this. I feel quite embarrassed. I am usually a very passive person, if my wife had been with then maybe there would've been screaming on both sides, but I was being very civil.
I just hope the Owner see's this and hopefully you can arrange customer service training for your staff and not just hire anyone.
