Watch your step..don't bother about your shopping!

I had a terrible experience yesterday while shopping. My attention was on the shelves trying to spot the item I was looking for when I suddenly tripped on something and landed heavily on the floor, injuring my knee, elbow and hip. The Owner and staff were standing together at the cashier's (approx 5 to 6 people) and not one of them came to my assistance. When I finally managed to get up I realised I tripped over a broomstick that was lying horizontally in the aisle and lodged firmly, so much so that it didn't even move an inch! I called the owner & staff and told them that I've seen them walk around in the shop, had no one seen the fallen broom ? 1 staff member claimed maybe a customer dropped it..but 12 pairs of eyes couldn't see it? The owner did not even have the decency to apologize let alone ask if I was hurt!! WOW..thats business ethics and compassion for you! What if an old person had to fall and break a limb?? A Big Thumbs down for Bin Dawood store on ROSE AVENUE, LENASIA.
