Upholstery of Chair

On 11 Aug 2011 my mother bought her bed double custom made for R37651. 00 and till today is very happy with a brilliant product. 2 friends also bought a bed from her doing demos.

She hasmuscular dystrophy (FSHD) in advanced stage. She cannot get up from any chair without assistance. So the end of January 2019 bought one of Healthcare & mobilities riser recliners for R31000.00 At adjust 4 sleep. She thought the artificial leather would be good, but nearly slid off the chair twice as it is very slippery in the rise position. February 2020 the machine made a weird noise and wouldn't recline so she had to pay as the year guarantee was finished. R1750. 00 later it was fixed. The leather kept on getting worse and worse as seen in attached photo. The company quoted R12 000.00 to re-upholster the chair. Someone from the company seperately quoted R2300.00 and she would also have had to buy 10m material whereas the chair uses less than 5m. Praise the Lord she then got hold of someone honest and very helpful - Billy Africa. He charged her a third for material, fetching and delivering and the labour incl. And as you can see in photo what a professional job he has done!!!!! Now her chair is quiet and very comfortable thanks to Billy.
