Pathetic service

I received a Billabong thermal vest with hooded, as a gift from my uncle who bought it in J-Bay . Not even a month later the plastic cord stopper brakes . I was in Claremont and saw a Billabong shop so I went in and told the sales assistant that I have the same vest , bought as a gift and I do not have a receipt as it was given to me by my uncle. I was told I must have a till slip I was like why if I do not want the money back just see if it can be repaired or replacement. I was so angry I just walked out the sales assistant did not offer a solution at all. I mean what type of service is that wow I always buy Billabong clothing and wetsuits and I as it's a good quality. So I was a bit concerned when the clip broke . PLEASE SORT THIS OUT.
