Bikeline - Not there in your time of need

Bikeline is an insurance broker that facilitates motorcycle insurance with an underwriting company by the name of New Wheels. I was recently faced with a breakdown and needed to have my vehicle towed home. I could not get hold of Trudi telephonically and I resorted to sending an SMS. To this she responded with a 'Who is this?' After advising who I was, she sent me an SMS with the number to call New Wheels, the underwriting agency. Long story short, after more than 10 phone calls up and down to both New Wheels and the AA, after multiple messages to Trudi, and after spending over 3 hours in the blistering heat, the towing service eventually arrived to assist.<br> <br> While I understand that Bikeline is merely a brokerage / intermediary, they remain my point of contact. They are the people who originally facilitated my insurance cover. They are the people I think of when the debit order runs off my account every month. After 5+ years of claim free membership with Bikeline, I found myself needing them to reciprocate, to hold up their end of the bargain, to help in my time of need. Besides them sending me a number to phone, I felt that little to no effort was made to facilitate the process.
