Poor Service and Rude Owner. Stay Away.

Poor Service. There are many bad reviews on Hello Peter and I understand why. Peter messed up my booking and I made arrangements to be at the collection address in Durban (I reside in Joburg). My bike was supposed to be collected on Sunday and I waited and tried calling the entire day but phones are off during the weekend. I eventually got through to Peter on Monday and he was convinced the error was on my side and was rude to me. When I read the emails out loud over the phone, he eventually realised he made the error. I paid the extra fee to ensure my bike was collected on the Sunday and Peter *****ed everything up, and on top of that he was rude, which is ridiculous. When I explained my frustration due to making arrangements for Sunday collection he told me "well I can't help you that you made plans for collection on Sunday" when he was the one who made a booking error and wasted my time with no one coming to collect my bike on Sunday. Absolutely shocking thinking and service. Bike freight Transport has one of the cheapest rates and they force you to make payment in full before they book your collection, and once they have your money, they have leverage to mess you around. Rather use a more reputable company. Also, Peter outsources some of the jobs to other companies, so just expect a lot of issues. I also paid extra for a bike wash, and my bike was not washed, which is to be expected with this dismal service.
