EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE FROM BIGFOOT EXPRESS

I have had the absolute worst experience with Bigfoot Express Freight!!

I placed a order for the goods to be collected from Centurion to deliver through to Pietermaritzburg last year. Once the goods were delivered we opened the boxes to find that the items were damaged while in transit. I have taken this up with the branch i placed the order through who have simply advised they are unable to assist us and declined our claim due to the goods being transported were glass items.

On every box that had glass items in there was a label stating fragile, along with pictures showing glass was in the boxes as well as clear writing showing the items were glass.

when querying with the branch if they do not transport glass goods then why when the collection took place was no-one informed that the boxes would not be collected due to glass content? instead the boxes were loaded onto the truck and shipped through to Pietermaritzburg.

This clearly shows that the person collecting the boxes did not take the time to check what goods were in the box before loading onto the truck.

We have sent many follow up emails to the relevant people who are dealing with this issue to have NO RESPONSE from them at all. No manager has bothered to give a curtsey call through to us to advise of the outcome or made any effort to resolve this matter!!

Seems only way forward is to get a lawyer involved to assist resolving this issue

Such poor service from a world wide known company is SHOCKING!!!!
