Please we need advice!!!

Hi there my brother has been working for "Big save" kempton park for 10 days now. The boss has not made him permanent or even mentioned any detail of his salary, contract or days off??. He has been going back and forth to work using his own money and has not been paid anything. The hours are 6:00 until 19:30!!!what does he do??
