injury while shoping

My mom went shopping and the guy who was driving a shock lift steped on his right leg and she's been injured ever since when I called them they said to me its not their fault that she's injured and she's the one who took her leg and put it there when the guy was injured I work in a relate shop and I have never heard of such a thing I hate that shop this Is not the end of me until they pay my mom
