Served SPOILT food twice.

On 06/02/2024 my partner and I went to the Big Fish in Umhlanga and had a very disappointing experience, it was very belittling actually.

We arrived ordered drinks and a platter for 2. When the food arrived i smelt the savoury rice and thought it was off but i decided to wait for my partner if he noticed anything, he always says im picky. Anyway he also notices it and tells me, we call the waiter and send the food back. No issue it was an honest mistake. So we had eaten some fish, a few prawns and some fries.

Our waiter brings our food back fairly quickly and i notice there is half a fried fish in our platter and i ask myself would they really serve us food the was on a plate with something that is SPOILT. I then see specs of the SPOILT RICE on the fish, They really returned food to us that was on the platter with the SPOILT.

Im not well vested on the standards of the restaurant industry but im pretty sure that what happened to us is frowned upon. We really feel belittleed because of what i imagine went on in the kitchen and what led them to make the decision of returning a SPOILT plate off food(ayi oDarkie ngeke beComplaine). We ended up just paying for our drinks and left
