Non-delivery of (supposed) premium service
Many banks make use of the Bidvest Airport Lounges for their premium customers. The banks pay for this. Often one is unable to even enter the lounge (depending on location) as they are simply too full. This week the lounge could not accommodate a disabled passenger on a wheelchair due to space constraints. The passenger asked to be wheeled two metres outside of the lounge and asked for a glass of water. Bidvest refused to accommodate his request on the basis that it was "*******". What nonsense. Thankfully FNB (I am not a customer but a frequent flyer customer) has access to the BA Slow Lounge. Bidvest could take a major hint where the receptionists go out of their way to accommodate passengers. The Bidvest associated banks should extract their bsuiness from Bidvest. As a frequent international traveller, I can tell you that Bidvest is not up to standard.
